Breakfast at the hotel, departure to visit the Giza Necropolis, “The Three Pyramids of Giza”, home to one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world, the Great Pyramid of Kheops, the Pyramids of Khafre and Mikerinos, the Sphinx and the Temple of the Valley Departure to visit the new Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), also known as the Giza Museum, an archaeological museum about 2 kilometers from the Giza pyramid complex. The GEM is open for a limited tour which allows you to see the Main Galleries, Main Hall, Grand Staircase, shopping area and outside gardens. Then go to an Egyptian restaurant for lunch. Return to the hotel and overnight in Cairo. Meals: Breakfast and lunch.

Breakfast on board. Visit to the temple of Edfu, dedicated to the god Horus and located in what, during Greco-Roman times, was called Apolonia Magna. Return to the boat to continue sailing to Kom Ombo, which means “the golden mountain”. Arrival and visit to the Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the gods Sobek and Haroeris, with their crocodile and falcon heads respectively. It was built by Ptolemy VI Filometor between 180 and 145 BC, during the first years of his reign. The southern half of the temple was dedicated to Sobek, god of fertility and creator of the world, and the northern half to Haroeris, “Horus the Elder”, considered the initiator of Egyptian civilization, god of the sky, war and hunting and Lunch, Dinner and overnight on board. Breakfast on board and Optional excursion to Abu Simbel Temple (optional), where the majestic temples of Ramses II and his wife Nefertari are located. Early morning departure by bus to Abu Simbel, crossing the desert at dawn to Lake Nasser in southern Egypt. These impressive temples were carved into the rock during the reign of Pharaoh Ramses II and dedicated to him and his wife Nefertari to commemorate their victory at the Battle of Kadesh and to show their power to the Nubians. In 1968, the temples had to be moved to prevent them from being submerged after the construction of the Aswan Dam and the complex was relocated to an artificial hill, built above the level of the future Lake Nasser. Return to Aswan and lunch on board. In the afternoon, we will visit the beautiful and iconic Temple of Philae. Visit to the Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis. During the construction of the Aswan Dam, the island of Philae was submerged by the waters. However, thanks to Unesco sponsorship, the temples were dismantled, moved and rebuilt on the nearby islet of Agilkia and Undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and interesting visits during our Nile cruise Night on board;Dinner and overnight on board.
